LWML Offers Christian Inspiration,
Spiritual Growth, Fellowship, Fun!

Through the LWML, thousands of volunteers daily dedicate their lives to making a difference in this world. They prepare for this through prayer and interesting, encouraging Bible studies.

The LWML helps women of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod (LCMS) find avenues to use their God-given talents as they joyfully share the Good News of Jesus Christ with people far and near.

One of LWML’s primary means for carrying this out is through mite offerings donated by each member. These moneys fund mission grants – for the national LWML and also the South Wisconsin District LWML. See the list of current recipients on our Mission Grants page.

Learn more about other LWML activities, too, on the various pages of this website.

If you are not an LWML member, visit a society meeting in your church - you'll be warmly welcomed! Or, attend a Spring or Fall zone rally in your area to meet Christian women from surrounding churches. Rallies, speakers and locations are announced in the March/April and the September/October issues of our publication, the Mission Lamp. You can download the Mission Lamp from the Publications page of this website or from the South Wisconsin LCMS website (see links).

If you are not a member of the LCMS, visit a congregation near you to see the LWML in action and learn more about the fun, friendship and Christian inspiration LWML offers through its local societies.

To learn still more about LWML, read the Lutheran Woman's Quarterly, available through any LCMS church, or visit the national LWML website (www.lwml.org)
